Follow the trail of the Silbertal miners.

The Historical Mining Museum in Bartholomäberg, the only demonstration mine in Vorarlberg, was reopened in 2010. During the restoration work great care was taken to preserve the historical character of the mine in its original unadulterated form.

120 metres of the St. Anna shaft, the actual length of which remains unknown, were able to be made accessible to the public. Accompanied by expert guides, visitors can relive the fascination of a historical mine and learn about the tough working conditions miners had to endure centuries ago.
The mine is approx. 50 minutes' walk from the Baroque church of Bartholomäberg.
